The final composition for my soundscape was a good audible representation of the chaos & lucidity that i feel I experience in the mornings. I tried to create a disorientating layer experience that almost compresses a week’s worth of sounds experienced in my mornings, to one disorientating and overwhelming composition. My soundscape i feel like represented the way my becomes active in the morning, how certain things can make it more calm, or more intense. I chose some sounds that played consecutively I think would audibly depict an ordinary morning, & the external events taking place. However by layering & adding effects, I tired to repent the contained chaos that i feel like I experience every morning. There are certain sounds that are heavily emphasised or repeated, like the lighter flick, the doors opening & closing, the bathroom ect, which in my morning i feel like are the routine & ordinary, with everything else being impulsive. I aimed to crease a sense of compressed time by layering & manipulating the audio elements. The overwhelming nature of the soundscape ultimately lends itself to a sense of calm, a sonic representation of the moments of internal peace, & some order is restored.
